Frequently Asked Questions

What changed on the Hyundai Kona for 2026?

The 2026 Hyundai Kona now offers Smart Cruise Control and Forward Collision Avoidance with Junction Turning and Driver Oncoming as standard features. The Kona trim lineup also looks different this year, with several configurations dropped and new ones added. Please contact our dealership near Kent, OH, for more information about the latest Kona iteration.

What's the difference between the Kona's CVT and 8-speed automatic?

The Kona's eight-speed automatic transmission is more traditional, with eight gears, while the IVT (the brand's version of an advanced CVT) has a belt and pulley system instead of fixed gears. The benefit of choosing the IVT is that it is typically more efficient, but both transmissions provide excellent fuel economy. Our team of specialists can walk you through the more nuanced differences between them.

Which Hyundai Kona trim is the best value?

While every Kona trim is competitively priced and offers well-rounded amenities, the SE model is generally considered the best for value. As the base trim, it has the most affordable MSRP while still boasting modern appointments and technology. Stop by our showroom serving Medina, OH, to learn more.
